I’ve been listening to it now for over 3 weeks, and every evening I come home after work excited and thinking about what I “get to work on this evening”. I didn’t have those thoughts before! And I am “focused” on working on my online business each evening - whereas before I mostly surfed and messed around, if i could get myself to do anything at all. And often I feel so excited about my business and its potential, that I have to make myself stop working once it gets really late. This is such a HUGE change from before.
Now some people would say its just the placebo effect, but I think when it comes to working 3-4 hours each evening and being highly focused, that a placebo effect would wear off pretty fast. What Happens to the Brain during Hypnosis? Researchers have been interested in biological correlates of hypnotizability as well as in those that can be measured by paper-and-pencil tests. Although hypnosis is commonly induced with suggestions for relaxation and even sleep, brain activity in hypnosis more closely resembles that of a person who is awake. The discovery of hemispheric specialization, with the left hemisphere geared to analytic and the right hemisphere to nonanalytic tasks, led to the speculation that hypnotic response is somehow influenced by right-hemisphere activity.
