How to Hypnotize People through Various Easy Techniques

by Challe77 on Dec.28, 2009, under Hypnosis

Hypnosis can be of two types – plain and simple hypnosis as well as hypnotherapy. By hypnotherapy I mean using hypnosis techniques on clients or patients to help them eliminate bad habits or negative thoughts or resolve traumas. While hypnosis is slightly different.

Hypnosis is mainly used for recreation, goal achievement or for the sake of relaxation. Hypnotherapy, compared to this, is far more serious. When someone asks you whether hypnosis actually works or not, just show them the examples of advertisements which lull us into buying things which we often don’t require.

Even when you are half asleep or half awake in the night or in the morning, you are in hypnotic trance. Even when you are daydreaming or are engrossed in books or movies or your thoughts are wandering or you are drifting off, you are in a state of trance. Thus hypnosis actually works. The big question is how to hypnotize people.

Before I discuss how to hypnotize people, let me first inform you of some signs or symptoms of hypnosis. When people are in a state of trance or in a hypnotic state, it requires a slight effort on their part to swallow eatables, they can feel sensations like tingling or coolness or warmth, often a hypnotized person starts looking like a lifeless mannequin or like a wax doll, though the change is very subtle.

A hypnotized person will also display a very relaxed look characterized by flattening of facial muscles, this will also be accompanied by loosening and relaxation of the muscles. When the subject opens his eyes, there is an increased wetness or redness in them. And at times, the subject will also flutter his/her eyelids. The legs, arms and fingers will slightly twitch and this will also be accompanied by alterations in the depth of breathing and the breathing rate.

How to do hypnosis?

When you want to know how to hypnotize people, you have to make that person lie down or at least sit down comfortably.

Then you have to talk to that person in slow soothing voice that will lull him.
Ask him/her to take three deep breaths and tell him/her to relax as much as he can.

Then you have to tell him to relax his different body parts separately, one by one, like arms, legs or back.

You have to use plenty of positive reinforcements and repetitions and continue the process for ten to fifteen minutes.

Hypnosis Scripts: What Are The Benefits Of Using Them?

by Challe77 on Dec.19, 2009, under Hypnosis

The term hypnosis scripts might sound unfamiliar to those who are not acquainted with hypnosis methods, but for others, it is a well known concept. If you try to give a cursory glance through the hundreds of different kinds of scripts that you can use on potential subjects, you will get overwhelmed very quickly by the sheer volume and variety of scripts available.

In this article I am going to discuss why professional hypnotherapists love to use scripts and what the benefits of scripts are. While practicing hypnotherapy, if you go for reading rather than dumb memorization, scripts will come into good use. It is usually the confident and strong readers who go for scripts.

Sometimes, when your patient or client requests you to apply hypnosis methods regarding subjects, which are not really your cup of tea or with which you are unfamiliar, it is best to settle for hypnosis scripts because that is what a diligent hypnotherapist would do.

When you dabble in scripts, it helps you to understand the working methods of professional hypnotherapists and the mechanism behind deep hypnotic trance. But different kinds of scripts are for different purpose. No two scripts will induce the same kind of deepening relaxation or hypnosis or trance. Nor will two scripts be equally effective regarding the necessary induction.

However, hypnotizing someone through scripts is possible only when you have mastered quite a few basic hypnosis skills. This is the main rider regarding hypnosis scripts. To be able to hypnotize someone through deepening and induction, you first have to possess adequate knowledge on hypnosis methods and then come the scripts.

Some professional hypnotherapists feel scripts are really not that necessary. But during the process of hypnosis, you often have to come across scores and scores of new topics about which you might not have that great an idea. It is during such sessions that hypnosis scripts become necessary, you are advised to peruse through at least one script before beginning.

There are professionals who love to use their own notes or scripts. And there are others who prefer to use readymade scripts widely available over the internet. Some of these scripts are for free, if you are on a tight budget. While you have to purchase some other kinds of scripts that are better done and boast of superior quality.

You have to see that the words used in scripts are appropriate for bringing in positive change. The effect can be maximized through repeated suggestions.

When you should listen to your hypnosis mp3s

by Challe77 on Dec.12, 2009, under Hypnosis

Hypnosis mp3s can be of great use if you just know how to use them optimally. You can listen to your hypnosis audio files in several ways, but I found that all of them involve the use of your ipod or a similar device. While engaging in the various activities of your life, such as cooking, running, jogging or during your spa sessions, you can plug in the ipod into your ears and listen to your hypnosis tracks and shuffle pumping music.

This way you will be doing your work and listening to mp3 files on hypnosis as well.

One of the best times to listen to your hypnosis audio tracks is when you are falling asleep at night. Plug in the ear plugs just before hitting the sack and the relaxing low sound of a voice that will lull you into deep sleep.

You can even use your hypnosis audio tracks as wake up calls during the morning. Wake up an hour or 30 minutes earlier and listen to your hypnosis mp3s before finally getting up from bed. You can even listen to the hypnosis audio tracks while brushing your teeth or sitting on your potty seat.

You will experience an incredible amount of stress relief and relaxation and will be able to begin the day’s work on a fresh note.

And yes, working out time that is when you are running or jogging or playing sports or lifting weights or bicycling is another time when you ought to listen to your hypnosis audio tracks.

Meal times also offer an excellent opportunity for listening to hypnosis mp3s. While eating your food in a rooftop garden or in the park or in the library or in office, you can start listening to motivational hypnosis tracks for those 15 or 20 minutes of break period.

You also require quite a bit of ‘me time’ or quiet time for yourself. It can be 10 or 15 minutes or half an hour and that half hour is only for yourself and for no one else. During this ‘me time’ you can meditate and while meditating, it is a good idea to listen to your hypnosis audio tracks. They will help you to concentrate better, lessen your stress and fatigue and help you reach your goals.
